Each DivaniClick chair can be customized by choosing from four fabric collections, each with a different feel, resistance, and character. Here are the characteristics of each, to guide you before making your choice.
Melange
A fine, two-tone structure, obtained by weaving two threads of different shades: up close it reveals a raised texture, from afar a full and vibrant color. It is the most durable fabric in the range, designed for those who seek solidity above all else, both at home and in a commercial setting.
- Two-tone weave with a melange effect, not a flat color
- The most wear-resistant of the entire range: 190,000 Martindale cycles
- 100% polyester, weight 250 g/m2, usable width 145 cm
- Not water-repellent: it is recommended to dry any liquids immediately
- 7 colors available
Water-Repellent Microfiber
A dense and soft-to-the-touch microfiber, treated to make liquids bead on the surface instead of being absorbed. It is the most versatile choice in the range: practical in the kitchen and dining room, pleasant to the touch, with the widest color palette of the four collections.
- Water-repellent: liquids remain on the surface, giving you more time to dry before they stain
- Soft and velvety feel, pleasant for everyday contact
- 92% polyester, 8% nylon, weight 467 g/m2, usable width 146 cm
- Resistance 55,000 Martindale cycles
- 13 colors available, the collection with the most variations
Water-Repellent Velvet
The velvet of the range: short and dense pile, iridescent effect in the light, pleasant and enveloping feel. The water-repellent treatment also makes it suitable for everyday use, not just for more formal environments. The palette is the richest in bold colors, from petrol blue to antique pink.
- Iridescent effect typical of velvet: the shade changes slightly depending on the light
- Water-repellent, designed for everyday use
- 100% polyester, weight 370 g/m2, usable width 142 cm
- Second best resistance in the range after Melange: over 100,000 Martindale cycles
- 11 colors available
Water-Repellent Suede
Suede effect obtained with three superimposed layers: polyester surface, polyurethane core, polyester and cotton base. The result is a velvety feel with the full appearance of leather, for those looking for a fabric with a more material character.
- The heaviest and most structured of the four fabrics, with a full leather-like appearance
- Water-repellent, designed to withstand intense daily use
- 3-layer structure, weight 500 g/m2, usable width 140 cm
- Resistance over 45,000 Martindale cycles
- Palette in natural and material tones: beige, mud, chianti, moss green
- 9 colors available
Technical comparison table
| Fabric | Composition | Weight | Usable Width | Abrasion Resistance | Water-Repellent | Colors |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Melange | 100% polyester | 250 g/m2 | 145 cm | 190,000 cycles | No | 7 |
| Water-Repellent Microfiber | 92% polyester, 8% nylon | 467 g/m2 | 146 cm | 55,000 cycles | Yes | 13 |
| Water-Repellent Velvet | 100% polyester | 370 g/m2 | 142 cm | over 100,000 cycles | Yes | 11 |
| Water-Repellent Suede | Polyester / PU / polyester-cotton (3 layers) | 500 g/m2 | 140 cm | over 45,000 cycles | Yes | 9 |
Abrasion resistance is measured with the Martindale test: the more cycles the fabric withstands before showing signs of wear, the more suitable it is for intense and daily use. All four fabrics largely exceed the threshold required for residential use.
How to care for them
- Liquids: blot immediately with an absorbent cloth, without rubbing. On water-repellent fabrics (Microfiber, Velvet, Suede), liquid remains on the surface longer: this is the best time to act.
- Dust and crumbs: vacuum regularly with a soft nozzle to prevent dirt from settling in the weave and dulling the color over time.
- Direct light: like any polyester fabric, prolonged exposure to direct sun can slightly fade the color: it's best to avoid placing chairs near very sunny windows.
- Stubborn stains: lukewarm water and mild soap, dabbing gently. Avoid bleach and aggressive solvents. For difficult stains, it is best to rely on professional cleaning.
