How we choose the materials for our seating.
All upholstery for the chairs, stools, and armchairs we produce are selected from prestigious textile companies, chosen for durability, ease of cleaning, and color fastness over time. The frames are made of powder-coated metal or wood, designed to withstand daily use, even the intensive use in bars and restaurants.
The 4 fabric collections.
Melange is the most durable: 100% polyester structured fabric, 250 g/m², approx. 190,000 Martindale cycles, a value for contract destinations. The right choice for bars, restaurants, waiting rooms, and families with children or pets.
Water-repellent Microfibre is soft to the touch and stain-resistant: 92% polyester and 8% nylon, 240 g/m², approx. 45,000 Martindale cycles, with a peach-skin effect treatment. Ideal for the dining room and living room at home.
Water-repellent Velvet is velvet: 100% polyester microfiber, 370 g/m², approx. 100,000 Martindale cycles, stain-resistant and with the deep color typical of velvet. For those seeking elegance and character without sacrificing practicality.
Water-repellent Suede-effect is the suede effect: Alcantara-type upholstery with a polyurethane layer, 500 g/m², approx. 45,000 Martindale cycles, stain-resistant and very easy to clean with a damp cloth. Perfect for the kitchen and all eating areas.
What is the Martindale value? It is the test that measures how many times a fabric can be rubbed before showing wear. Above 25,000 cycles is considered intense domestic use, above 100,000 is commercial use: the higher the number, the longer the seat will remain like new.
Leg finishes.
Each chair and stool can be ordered with the frame in the finish you prefer: 11 metal finishes (Matte White, Silver, Cast Iron, Matte Black, Dove Grey, Titanium, Shadow Grey, Bronze, Rust, Ivory, Gold) and 8 wood finishes (Beech, White, Dove Grey, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Medium Walnut, Rustic Walnut, Oak). Custom colour painting available upon request, at no extra cost.
How to clean them.
Fabrics (Melange, Water-repellent Microfibre, Water-repellent Velvet): wash in water at a maximum of 30°C on a delicate cycle without spinning, or dry clean; do not tumble dry, do not use chlorine, iron at a maximum of 110°C on the reverse. Leather effect (Water-repellent Suede-effect): do not wash in water, clean with a slightly damp soft cloth and neutral soap, avoiding solvents and abrasive products.
